TThis Shipping and Returns Policy applies to any product/s purchased from ALUMINUS PTY LTD.
All prices, as displayed on aluminus.com.au, are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and will be charged in Australian Dollars at the time of Checkout.
- 1.1ALUMINUS PTY LTD currently only ships within Australia. We will deliver the product/s ordered through ALUMINUS PTY LTD to the nominated location as per the details provided at Checkout.

- 1.3Delivery costs are calculated at the time of Checkout. Any period or date estimated for delivery is not a contractual agreement and may be subject to delays dependant on third-party freight:

- 1.4Please allow for approximately ten (10) business days (excluding special dates and weekends) from order confirmation for your product to be delivered. However, ALUMINUS PTY LTD remains not liable for failure to meet any estimated delivery date. While we endeavour to meet estimated delivery times, any period or date estimated for delivery is not a contractual commitment and may be susceptible to delays dependent on external influences.
All customers must contact us within fourteen (14) days after receipt in regards to any refund.
- 2.1If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase made with ALUMINUS PTY LTD, you are welcome to return your product/s within 14 days as of the date of the receipt for a refund IF the good/s are deemed as faulty, damaged, missing in part or are incorrect as per Australian Consumer Law.
- 2.2Products returned must be in original condition with any/all packaging intact, with your proof of purchase and/or RA (see Section 3.2.) included.
- 2.3ALUMINUS PTY LTD reserves the right to limit or refuse returns and/or refunds for any of the following reasons:
- The Customer is abusing our Returns and Refunds Policy
- Change of mind
- Purchasing for purposes outside of domestic/commercial use as per product limitations
- 3.1If for any reason you are displeased with the purchase made and would like to return an item that has been purchased online or in-store, ALUMINUS PTY LTD will happily accept it for credit, exchange or refund under the following pretences according to Australian Consumer Law:
- The return must be executed within thirty (30) days of delivery date and/or purchase date
- The returned item/s must be in a saleable condition
- The returned item/s must be in its original, unmarked packaging, free from damage and have not been installed OR attempted to be installed
- Delivery costs are non-refundable in the case of a return or exchange
- All return postage costs are at the expense of the Customer
- All clearance and/or sale items are non-refundable
- Our Client Services team will inspect all returns. Should the inspection deem the product as resellable, an exchange or refund will be issued
- 3.2A Return Authorisation (RA) must be issued by our Customer Service team before any product/s is deemed as appropriate for return and sent back to ALUMINUS PTY LTD. Otherwise, the return may not be accepted. The RA must be included with the original packaging. To obtain an RA, or have any queries relating to a return, contact the Customer Service team at ALUMINUS PTY LTD at sales@aluminus.com.au
- 3.3ALUMINUS PTY LTD does NOT accept returns for custom items. These are non-refundable/non-returnable under any circumstance, save for a manufacturing fault.
ALUMINUS PTY LTD, pursuant to Australian Consumer Law and other relevant Australian legislation, guarantees certain warranties concerning the quality and fitness for purpose of our products sold, and are not exempt from Australian Consumer Law. If you consider a product/s which you have purchased to not be of acceptable quality or has a latent defect or is not compliant with your legal rights as a consumer under Australian Law, you are entitled to make a claim.
- 4.1Our warranty policy is subject to the following:
- This warranty is only applicable in Australia.
- There is proof of purchase clearly stating purchase details.
- All products are subject to Australian Consumer Law and, as pursuant to such legislation, you are entitled to a repair, refund or replacement for any significant failure which deems the product/s as unfit for purpose or damaged.
- Should the product/s purchased fail to be of acceptable quality, you are entitled to have the goods refunded, repaired or replaced.
- You must return the product to ALUMINUS PTY LTD, and
- You must have only used the product according to its instructions
- 4.2Nothing in this warranty disregards legal rights under the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Clth) and other Australian laws. This warranty gives additional protection for your ALUMINUS PTY LTD products in an attempt to rectify warranty claims efficiently, subject to the following conditions:
- Proof of purchase is provided, including an invoice number.
- ALUMINUS PTY LTD warranty claims apply to the original owner only. This is non-transferable.
- Failure is due to a manufacturing fault.
- The product/s claimed for warranty may be eligible for a return, repair or refund, so long as the product/s have been installed (in full) by an industry professional and no other in part.
- Normal wear and tear do not apply to the Company’s warranty policy.
- Should the damage to ALUMINUS PTY LTD product/s be due to chemical, electrochemical, electrical or cleaning influences, we will not accept a warranty claim.
- 4.3This warranty policy is only applicable if the product/s returned are maintained according to appropriate product care and maintenance. Inadequate or complete lack of maintenance can jeopardise your eligibility for a warranty claim.

The period to which a Manufacturer warranty is in effect, in the event of a defect, is valid for 12 months as of the date of receipt. In all cases, the commencement date for the period is the actual date of purchase, as reflected on the invoice issued by ALUMINUS PTY LTD.
For your product/s to fall under the warranty claim, you must satisfy the following requirements as per Section 4.1.
If your product is a discontinued or limited edition, then we will replace the product with an equivalent edition.

Please note, in the case of a warranty claim, ALUMINUS PTY LTD will cover the cost of shipping.

ALUMINUS PTY LTD deems the following as grounds for excluding your warranty claim from serious consideration:
- Any damage or injury to any person, damage to any property, and any indirect consequential or other loss or damage.
- Any damage caused by ‘wear and tear.’
- Any issues/problems/defects caused by faulty, unprofessional installation and not in conjunction with our proper product management, care and installation.
- Any defects caused by third-party modification, repairs and/or replacement.
- ALUMINUS PTY LTD is not responsible for any consequential loss or damage to furniture, flooring, wall fixtures, etc. by any defect in any product.
- ALUMINUS PTY LTD is not responsible for any costs associated with the removal or re-installation of any product.
- ALUMINUS PTY LTD will not be responsible for any costs associated with warranty work completed or undertaken with our knowledge or prior approval.
